THOUSAND OAKS, CA — Matt Jacobs, former Federal Prosecutor and Republican candidate for California’s 26th Congressional District, released his second TV ad today.
The ad is part of a deep six-figure, eight-week buy on cable. It highlights how Democrat control of Washington has led to skyrocketing crime, taxes and inflation at home – and disaster abroad.
The release of this ad comes on the heels of significant momentum for the Jacobs campaign in the terms of polling, national recognition, local endorsements, and record-breaking fundraising.
Jacobs’ Campaign Momentum:
- The Race is Tied on Generic Ballot: public polling shows Republicans virtually tied on the generic ballot in California’s 26th Congressional District.
- The NRCC is Targeting CA-26: the National Republican Congressional Committee has added California’s 26th Congressional District to its list of targeted seats.
- Matt Jacobs has been endorsed by many local law enforcement organizations, and has been recognized nationally as a top Republican pickup opportunity as part of the NRCC’s Young Guns program.
- Matt Jacobs raised over $320,000 in the first quarter of 2022, outraising incumbent Democrat Congresswoman Julia Brownley by $87,000 in gross receipts, according to campaign finance reports. Jacobs has raised over $1.3 million cycle-to-date.
