Matt Jacobs Outraises Julia Brownley by 4X During Pre-Primary Period

May 31, 2022

THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Matt Jacobs, former Federal Prosecutor and Republican candidate for California’s 26th Congressional District, raised over $255,000 in the pre-primary reporting period of 2022 – more than four times the amount incumbent Democrat Congresswoman Julia Brownley raised during the same period, according to recently released campaign finance reports.

Jacobs has also outraised Brownley cycle-to-date, with nearly $1.5 million in receipts through the end of May 2022.

Brownley’s lackluster performance has come to the attention of Nancy Pelosi, who recently contributed a combined $14,000 to Brownley, from both her campaign and leadership PAC. Brownley has a 100% voting record with Pelosi.

The release of Jacobs’ pre-primary report comes on the heels of significant momentum for the Jacobs campaign in the terms of polling, national recognition, local endorsements, and record-breaking fundraising.
